I stopped in at the ranger station and told her that I was interested in seeing La Ventana Arch. She recommended that I take in the view from the Sandstone Bluffs Overlook.<\/p>\n<p>It reminded me of the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.towingsilver.com\/?p=310\">Valley of Fire BLM<\/a> site I visited last year.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.towingsilver.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/05\/view-from-Sandstone-Bluff-2.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-5968 size-large\" src=\"http:\/\/www.towingsilver.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/05\/view-from-Sandstone-Bluff-2-1024x640.jpg\" alt=\"view from Sandstone Bluff\" width=\"660\" height=\"413\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.towingsilver.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/05\/view-from-Sandstone-Bluff-2-1024x640.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/www.towingsilver.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/05\/view-from-Sandstone-Bluff-2-300x188.jpg 300w, https:\/\/www.towingsilver.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/05\/view-from-Sandstone-Bluff-2-768x480.jpg 768w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 660px) 100vw, 660px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>There were lava flows around sandstone bluffs.
