GREEN!
(I’ll bet you were thinking of a different color.)
Before I leave Michigan, I have got to say that this is one of the greenest states I have ever seen.
Of course, there are the trees.
Light green trees, dark green trees, medium green trees. Then, the color changes with the light.
Some of the water is green.
There is green in the rocks.
Green moss and lichens.
The ferns on the forest floor
As well as all the other plants
The pollen blowing through the air is green.
Some of the benches are green, too.
And with all the rain that we got while I was there, even Smokey knows where it’s at.

Oh my, so many lovely shades of green.
Living on the prairies this time of year our green’s are fading into brown so I am very envious.
God bless.
I would say that Washington State is way greener- except we’ve had the longest stretch of little to no rain ever so we’re actually much browner than normal. So I think Michigan may be greener than us at the moment!
Well, if things work out the way I hope, I’ll be able to judge Washington for myself next year. I hope you get some rain soon.
Sometimes, it is easy being green. (Sorry, Kermit!)
